Do Wine Enhancers Work / Worth Buying?

September 4th, 2010 | Posted in Wine racks   Comments Off
♥Charlayy♥ asked:

I was in the mall today scouring the stores for Christmas gifts. I was deciding on one of the gifts for my parents when I came across a wine enhancer. I have never heard of them until now, and my parents have racks upon racks of wine at their home and love having their glass of wine with dinners, and during special occasions.Seeing as they are indeed wine drinkers, I’m considering buying this tool, do wine enhancers such as this make a difference?

Here is a copy of the one I was looking at:

Wine bottle with messed up cork?

September 3rd, 2010 | Posted in Wine racks   Comments Off
Erik asked:

Hello I have a Taylor’s 1960 Vintage port that I am hoping to sell off. However i did come up with a problem. The cork seems unusually loose. I light push is able to move the cork deeper into the bottle. Keep in mind that this bottle has been on a rack cork side down for many years. So why wont it absorb wine and get larger?
I realized I could change the cork, but the point is I want to sell it and it wont be worth much if its opened now would it?

quail and roasted racks of lamb and much, much more, and let us tax payers pick up the tab. Is it not enough that they have made a mess out of the economy, and screwed us out of our retirement.

My wine is coming to life! HELP! SP, Grav started at 1.15, I racked it at 1.07. It is very active now?

It is burping every second or two. You can see ALOT of tiny bubbles traveling from the bottom to the top of the jug! What is going on? Do I have rocket fuel in the making?
LOL!! It was exciting until my wine started to look like it was boiling! It is strawberry. You can’t smell wine at all. It has been cooking for about 9 days now. I used the canned strawberries from my wine making store. They told me the fermenting would slow way down once it was in the secondary fermenter. It is working overtime now!

I’d like to make a double-duty cardboard box, like a wine bottle box that you could use later to make a wine rack.
Can anybody give me any ideas like this?
Thanks a lot!

There was this big house and a sheriff (named Bell) was investigating something. He found this secret passage in this guy’s closet and came into a room. In the room was a stair case, as he began to climb the staircase he was stabbed in the back.

Someone else came through the passageway and found his dead body on top of a wine rack.

best way to move across country?

August 12th, 2010 | Posted in Wine racks   Comments Off
cap 1981 asked:

I am probably going to be moving from Cincinnati to Florida for a job— I was wondering if it would be cheaper to just sell all my stuff here and get new stuff there, or if i should keep my stuff and haul it down there…if you think i should keep it, is there a cheap way to move it? I come from a one bedroom apartment..big items are couches, bed, vanity table, living room tables, dining table and chairs, bakers/wine rack, buffet table, tv, stereo system—i don’t know– it seems like alot to haul down — but also alot to replace (and my matress is less than a year old.)

what do you think?
